Eradicating Drug Issues In Pattaya

Banglamung police have caught a group selling drugs 24,000 tablets as well as 10 million worth rtbut that is now being kept the investigation.

PATTAYA – August 19, 2013 [PDN]; At 2.30 AM, Police Maj. General Katcha Tatsart, Commander of Chon Buri police along with Suwicharn Yankittikul, Deputy Commander; Pol., Supachai Puykaewkam Pol.Lt.Col,.Nit Witinuntakit Pol.Lt.Col along with the investigation police announced that they have caught a gang of five people dealing with amphetamine drugs. This gang consisted of Mr. Nophol Tiyabul 44 years old , Mrs. Navirat Chitchatkorn 47 years old, Mr. Niwaet Chitamphai 58 years old, Ms. Niphaphorn Wongpraphan 32 years old and Mr. Thanin Kongsaen 36 years old are all from Nakonpathom. They were caught in 24,000 tablets of amphetamine tablets, one gun, a couple of hundred thousand baht cash, 10 mobile phones andother the stuffs have been gathered for further investigations.

Before this incident happened the police investigation department had already caught a gang of drug dealers which was reported to have bought the drugs from a major drug dealer in north-east (Issan). After a well thought plan by the police Department they were able to spot Mr. Nophol Tiyabul 44 years old who was driving the car and searching for ways at the Kahamkung village, at kumphawapi roadside in Udon Thani to deliver the drugs. Not so long after Mr. Nophol Tiyabul and Mrs. Manirat Luksamun delivered the goods with a pickup at the destination reported.

After some time Mr. Nophol Tiyabul and Mrs. Manirat Luksamun were found in 611 Moo 3, Tambon Thauthan, Nakhonpathom. After being questioned the two drug dealers claim that these drugs were being sent from the agent in Laos from the Mekong river which was then distributed to other small dealers to be sold in Thailand.

Police Maj. General Katcha Tatsart claims that one of the largest drug distribution centers is located in the north-east. The North East drug dealers buy these drugs from Laos and then distribute to almost every part of Thailand. Most drug dealers in the North region have been more careful because there have been major enforcement in eradicating drugs by the police Department. Most drug dealers in Pattaya had reportedly made purchase from the same drug dealers making it easier to locate the big distributors.
