A Man with Drugs See Police Say “I wants to go to jail”

Songpeenong Police in Suphanburi Province encountered a strange case when a 32 year-old man came into the Police station in order to be arrested for possessing drugs.

Suphanburi – August 16, 2013 [PDN]; The man who had surprised the Songpeenong Police officers was named Mr. Somsak Sontinen, aged 32. He was reported to have walked into the police station and took out drugs out of his pocket saying that he’d want to be jailed for possessing illegal drugs.

Mr. Somsak claimed that the reason he wanted to be jailed was that he wants to quit consuming alcohol and drugs and that no one forced to go to jail. He said that he went through several rehabilitations but after time went by he returned taking drugs and consuming alcohol.

The director of Songpeenong Police station said that he was confused as no one wants to go to jail, but he said that it is a good thing that Mr. Somsak wants to change himself.

Mr. Somsak will now be charged for the possession of drugs.
