Suspicious Pick â€“ Up Car Stopped By Pattaya Police

Pattaya Police were able to arrest a teenager that supposedly showed his to intimidate people at a pub in Pattaya.

PATTAYA – August 6,2013 [PDN]; Pattaya Police were informed by locals that a teenager was showing his handgun in front of a pub located in South Pattaya Soi 4, locals said that he escaped on a pick-up car.

As soon as the report was received, a team of police officers was dispatched to intercept the pick-up car. It was then reported that the pickup car was parked at a house in the Khao Noi community.

The teen who carried the handgun was identified as 23 year-old Suriua Muenchana, who was found with 2 other of his friends. When police asked to inspect the teenagers, they refused as they rightfully claimed that the police did not have the rights to inspect them as they were on private property. After looking around the property, police were able to coincidentally find a handgun loaded with magazine behind a stone.

The father of 23 year-old came out of his house raging, he said that the gun was a legally registered gun and that he had connections with high ranking police officers and politicians. He claimed that his son did not threaten anyone with the gun.
