Donation Box Theft Caught Red Handed

A tourist caught red handed at Mike shopping mall for trying to steal a donation box.

PATTAYA – August 8,2013 [PDN]; a tourist was reported to have stolen a donation box at Mike Shopping Mall, located on second road Moo 10, Tambon Nong Prue, Banglamung, Chonburi.

At the place of incident, the Mall’s security guard and staff witnessed the tourist pocketing a donation box that belongs to PhraPhron foundation. An approximate amount of 2,000 was donated in that box. The tourist, Mr. Victor Petrov, a Russian nationality aged 20 years is now taken for further investigation.

Human Resource Manager of Mike Shopping Mall, Ms. Sumalai Rattanaprathum was reported by the mall’s security guard about the theft. The security guard reported that Mr. Victor Petrov, came in the shopping mall, just roaming nearby the donation box, after which he takes off his jacket to cover the box and prepares to escape without being noticed. However, the alert security guard in charge witnessed the actions and was able catch hold of Mr. Victor and reported the case for further questioning.

If they're that broke, what the hell are they doing here in the first place?

Stealing from tip boxes and charity boxes are the lowest thing thing a person can do and they deserve what punishment they receive.

 

A friend owns a bar in Pattaya and they stole his 'Help for Heroes' charity box, it was loaded with money as former defense force people, like myself drink in his bar and put a lot of cash in it as sometimes the government of our respective countries turn their backs on us and leave us behind with ZERO assistance after getting damaged either physically or psychologically during/after conflict (as admitting people need help costs money)  and this charity looks after former servicemen.

 

He was absolutely gutted (as was I) that someone had stolen a fucking charity box from his bar.

 

No sympathy for this guy, it was obviously premeditated.

Tip boxes will soon be removed from bars then for all the wrong reasons to prevent this sort of thing happening again.

 

I know that there's a lot of people in Patts with very low morals but this is scraping the floor!!

He deserves double of what he gets.

At least if a person steals, it should at least before it was willingly given to help a less fortuate person. I do not mean that to justify the theft in any way form and fashion.
