Reckless Teenagers Fire At The Car Of A Teacher In Pattaya

A group of teenagers recklessly fired bullets at the car of a teacher. The passenger of the car was severely injured.

PATTAYA – July 5, 2013 [PDN]; Banglamung Police officers were informed by officers at Bangkok-Pattaya Hosital that a man was sent into the emergency center after he was shot at Naklua Rd.

The man that was shot was named Ms. Mongkon, aged 21, he was injured at his hip.

Mr. Teerapong, aged 29, who was the friend and driver of the damaged car said that his friends who came to visit from Pracheenburi wanted to find a karaoke place after they wanted to entertain themselves. He thought that it was a good idea to go a certain area in Naklua called “Naklua Tai” or South Naklua, a red-light district.

When he was driving along the road of Naklua Tai, a pick-up suddenly followed their car and honked at them. Mr. Teerapong said that the driver of the pick-up car showed a handgun at them, which was believed to scare them off. Mr. Teerapong then decided to continue drive through the Naklua Tai Road in order to find a karaoke place, but as soon as they went through the road, several motorbikes drove after them and fired bullets at them. He said that he immediately drove off and to escape as over 10 men were after them. Mr. Teerapong immediately went to Bangkok-Pattaya Hospital as he noticed that his friend was injured.

From initial police investigation, it was known that bullets of different sizes were fired at them.

Police are now trying to further investigate in order to arrest the culprits, as they are a threat to society.
