In Football you actually use your foot most of the time, in American football, the foot is rarely used. 

Football (Soccer) is known as football, in every other country bar America and one or two others, it is also the number one sport in the world by far and transends race, religion and social class. 

It really is the beautiful game (apart from Ribery)

I have to say before i moved to Thailand i rarely watched soccer..Now after years of getting indoctrinated i enjoy English-European football very much.. One thing as an American i really appreciate  there are zero commercials for each entire 40 minute half..  All sports in America anymore consist of 50percent sports and 50percent commercials. ..

And show the passive bystanders, who were waiting for the next commercial break to finish.

They also don't hit nearly as hard as American footballers do, because they don't play with the same sense of reckless abandon that the gear gives the confidence for.... even the college players in the USA would kick any professional athlete's ass from the rest of the world. FACT... well maybe not Canadian Hockey players. Those guys are the only ones tougher than American Football players. However, that's because they're scrappy as shit, not on the same athletic level.

Take a look at these 20 year olds and then show me a comparable clip of the England U21 team

For real though, I wouldn't want to fight those guys (you can ask the ladies on Soi 6 - I'm a lover, not a fighter), but they still aren't NFL caliber. Even with pads, more NFL guys get serious injuries which says something. And while many of the best hits are penalties, you still don't see literal head to head full speed collisions anywhere but American football. In the US, the best Rugby programs are Utah and Cal Berkley. The best player in the country is a Samoan on Utah. He tried to play american college football and couldn't cut it.

You still can't find the most exciting things in sports anywhere but American football:

the best way to win at fantasy football is to go all out to win the monthly prize,pick a few teams entire defence for each team pluss silkful picking for midfield and forwards ,change your team everyweek and make sure all 11 players play,its a bit expensive ,but if only 1 team keeps a clean sheet on the first sat you off to a flyer.
