Thief Arrested After Snatching Russian’s Handbag

A thief was arrested by Pattaya Police after he had stolen the handbag of a Russian woman. The man claimed that he needed money to return to his hometown, Korat.

PATTAYA – July 27, 2013 [PDN]; The man was identified as Mr. Juranot Boonkuang, aged 31 from Nakorn Ratchasima (Korat) province. He was arrested after he snatched the hand bag of a Russian tourist at Pattaya Beach Rd. The man was arrested after he was chased down by Police officers who happened to be near the area.

Mr. Juranot has now been taken to Pattaya City Police station where he will be questioned and charged for thievery.
