Police Coincidentally Find Endangered Animals at Aa Burglarized House

A burglar was able to steal possessions worth over half a million Baht at a luxurious house in Pattaya. When police inspected the house, they coincidentally find a room filled with rare and endangered animals. Police will now wait for the Royal Forest Dept. to investigate the animals.

pdn319.jpgPATTAYA – July 26, 2013 [PDN]; The burglary took place at a two-story house adjacent to Sukhumvit Rd. The owner of the house that cash money, digital cameras and other valuable electronics were stolen from the house, the estimated worth of the stolen items was reportedly over 500,000 THB.

After police had completed a thorough inspection of the house, they were able to find different types of rare animals stored in cages within the house, making the police question if the animals are registered or legitimate. Police have now contacted investigation officers of the Royal Forest Dept. to investigate case in order to find out whether the animals were legally obtained or not.
