Advice on island hopping

One hung low

Recommended Posts

Looking for a break from patts on my next trip. I would like to try some islands. Last trip I visited Phuket and phi- phi. I rather enjoyed the experience. I am thinking of krabi,(advice from the board), and perhaps other islands in the area. Any recommendations ?

Thanks.

I been to most in that region, Koh Lanta and Koh Jum are the best known in Krabi, then there are several off Trang, and many off Satun. Lipe, Adang, Tarutao, Bulon... all off Satun, get boats from Pakbara.

Women are made to be loved, not understood.

or you could also visit Ko Samui, with Ko Phanghan & Ko Tao close by.

I thought about visiting koh Samui but I always thought it was full of gap year student wankers...

Is this true?

Combine Pattaya with Koh Samet. It's only a couple hours including ferry from Pattaya. Great island for a few days.

And then if you like Koh Samet, go to Koh Chang, which is a couple hours farther. A bigger island than Koh Samet with more to do. Both very beautiful and a lot easier than getting to the other islands

The smaller islands of Los are well known for backpackers and the younger crowd

If you go to somewhere like Lamai in samui there's plenty of older tourists and many expats
