Song Pee Nong police officers took charge at a 40 year-old who chased after locals and patients at a local hospital.

SUPHANBURI – 18,2013 [PDN]; A 40 year-old Thai national who went after local people and patients at the Somdet Phra Sangkarat hospital was arrested by police officers that were informed by locals. The man reportedly used a big knife to chase after locals and patients at the hospital .

Police then questioned the wife of the suspect, who had told police officers that her husband was a renowned masseuse in the community they were living in. But when most of his regular customers weren’t coming back, he became stressed and became eventually mad or crazy, which lead to the reported incident.

Locals and police officers that were at the scene tried to calm and talk to the 40 year-old, but he wouldn’t drop the weapon and stop. After 4 hours, he finally stopped and asked for cigarettes, he then dropped his weapon and walked to the police officers to be arrested. Police will now send him to a mental hospital in Bangkok, where he will be treated by psychology specialists.
