Mother Forces 15 Year – Old Daughter Into Prostitution

A mother of a 15 year-old teenage girl was arrested after she had forced her very own daughter into prostitution. The woman claimed that she needed the money to feed herself and her family, but it was known that she was a drug addict and she used the money that her daughter got from prostitution to buy drugs.

BANGKOK – July 9,2013 [PDN]; Mrs. Pavena Hongsakul, the Minister of Social Development and Human Security held a press conference regarding the rescue of a 15 year-old who was forced into ,prostitution by her own mother. During the press conference she said that the 29 year-old mother of the teenage girl (who was arrested by police officers together with officials from the Pavena Foundation for Children and Women) had constantly forced her daughter into prostitution in order to buy drugs that she was addicted to.

The 29 year-old mother claimed to have been addicted to illegal drugs since she was 14 and that she had her first child she was 14. After she had divorced with her husband, she fell into poverty which made her decide to force her daughter into prostitution in order to continue buying drugs. But she claimed that her daughter was also addicted to drugs, which made the teenager decide to continue prostitution, which ultimately led to the arrest.

After the arrest, the 15 year-old teenage girl has been sent to the Krettakarn Home, where she will undergo a rehab and recovery program. As for her 29 year-old mother, she will also undergo a rehabilitation program and will be prosecuted right after the program.

I am sure that the drugs, smoking, and getting drunk is a way to fit in and a way of cooping with their situation, and nothing they would normally do if they were back in a village someplace allowed to play and grow with their peers and boys their own age.

I think, for a her throw her daughter in this kind of life so early in the ages, it's maybe because she fall in also when she was teenage.

 

as i know a lady's friend, she told me that her dad leave them when she was young, for stay with a younger girl than her mom, then her mom start to working bad and trying to pay education for her daughter, but when she was pretty enough and "ready" to work in a bar, she send her there...

she also used to use the ID card of her cousin, for can go inside Ibar/insomnia, and find men, as she is underage...

Heard exacly the same story a few years ago in the middle of nowhere in Isaan.. the girl was 15, and the addiction of the mother weren't drugs, but rather gambling and the local "billiard club". She used to work in a local Karaoke, then her mother sent her to work in a "big city" in order to meet a "rich farang" or at least richer than the locals. She didn't like it, called her father (divorced from the mother - if they'd ever been married) and when he heard of the story, he rushed to retrieve her... and saved her from prostitution, right? Nope, he took her back working in the karaoke. Apparently he didn't like the idea of her daughter working with farangs. This is the only one I knew the story of, but in karaokes and similar places in the country there are plenty of girls around more or less of the same age.. some of them work only during the summer vacations, when schools are closed.

 

Makes you reconsider the whole concept of "farm fresh" girls...

The news story mentions prosecution to follow rehab for

the degenerate mother. Anyone know how severe a sentence

she will be facing for doing that ?
