Hello everyone,

 

just make this thread for share with you my experience from this club.

 

i'm expat in Pattaya since november 12, so i search a good boxing club and fitness with a good price, and i think i found the good one ^^

 

it's on Pattaya klang, near Big C extra, just in front of 69 Club, WKO gym.

 

there are a lot of karate world champion there, they have classes everyday and organize a lot of competition (there is wko club all around the world).

 

so in this building, there is 5 floor .

 

on first floor, fitness gym, for training, small but enough machines in there.

 

second, third and fourth floor, dojo, for karate, kung fu and other kind of martial arts training.

 

finnaly on the last floor, the boxing camp : on big ring, many trainers (world champion sakhmongkol, world champion yodsanan sithyodong, and others)

 

good teachers, good feeling, and all that for 3000 bath/month or 30k/year.

I've been training there for years, but I'm getting fed up with the lack of air condition in the weights room. It is on, but the control is set too high to keep the room cool, and with the lack of fans it gets quite uncomfortable in there. Shame, because it really is a great gym.

when did you went there fo the last time?

because air con in the fitness room is working fine actually ! they change the running machine, add some new stuff, and air con is ok it's cold in there ^^

 

they also just change the carpet on the boxing ring.

I was last there in March. I will be back in October so hopefully it will be as cold as you say. If that is the case I will be very happy to train there

do not forget to close the stairs door ! for heat not go inside the room ^^

anyone know if you can just use the dojo or do we have to join their structured classes??

Hi Jason,

 

actually there is two kind of membership :

or you join only the fitness, and you pay less

or you join all the structure, and it's 3000 bath a month, and you can use whatever you want.

karate class is in after at 6:30pm

boxing class at 3:30 pm

it's open 7/7 you can training alone, when you want.

we get there Sat 3rd Aug so we'll visit them on the Sunday - if they're open?

I popped in last time I was in town but the communication with the lady downstairs just did not happen.  Did get a nice pamphlet but.

yes, do not hesitate to ask to see Sifu for ask all you want. there is also on of the trainer who is also karate teacher, ask for Mohamed when you get there.

otherwise, you can ask to see Sifu, or sakmonghkol. classes is at 6:30 pm.

karate kyokushin .

Very good... then there is no reason for me to come home out of shape every time after my usual month in LOS :-D

you can drunk a night, and come training next day, you have enough hours for sleep and drain out alcohol from your body

And does the 3000 per month include access to everything with no extra fees (except maybe buying some clothes)?
