Hi out there,

just found an offer for an abroad SIM card and a call, forwarding of your private number for that.

http://www.holidayphone.com/

Is this an option or am I able to find this cheaper in Thailand itself ?

The pro is the call forwarding, I am reachable from my home country without any roaming costs.

Just got on their chat. They use DTAC and it is slightly more expensive than buying at the airport.

For me, I like the idea of having my calls forwarded from my original number and not having to worry about mucking around at the airport.

You can never take back ......
  • A moment after it's missed
  • A word after it's said
  • Time after it's been wasted

Exactly what i have done and the only other bit of advice i would give is to get one with a 12 month expiry on the sim card. This gives you a further 12 months from when you top up each time and i use 1 to call. As i come twice a year have been able to have the same number for 10 years.  :GoldenSmile1:
