APN settings for AIS, DTAC, TRUE

Hi guys,

Ever heard about APN (access point name) settings in your phone ?
Well ... it's a carrier specific setting which you need to go on the internet.
No access name filled in - no internet on your phone.

Imagine you do something that erased the setting while you are in LOS,

Imagine you did an update for your iphone and once it's done no more internet,

imagine it just didn't work automaticaly by just inserting the simcard,

and so on,    and so on..   
Then you would need this :

 

AIS

• Name of access point = APN :      internet               (try also :   Internet)
• Username: [leave empty], or: ais
• Password : [leave empty], or: ais

MMS AIS

Name : ais mms

APN : multimedia

MMSC : http://mss.mobilelife.co.th

MMS Proxy : 203.170.229.34

MMS Port : 8080

user :

password :

APN Type : mms

 

 

DTAC

• Name of access point = APN:      www.dtac.co.th
• Username: [leave empty], or : guest
• Password : [leave empty], or : guest

MMS DTAC

Name : dtac mms

APN : mms

MMSC : http://mms.dtac.co.th:8002

MMS Proxy : 203.155.200.133

MMS Port : 8080

user :

password :

APN Type : mms

Just gathered this information on the internet. If some of it wouldn't work, please post here.

 

An other trick with APN :       If you want to avoid that your phone can be used for internet and your credit can get lost , you can change the APN. I usually just add a number (KKK333internet instead of internet -  example) and this way it will probably not be possible to use it until you change it again.
I have always seen this trick to work but all depends on the mobile operator too. If they give you access to the internet, you will pay for it. But normally you won't get access without the right settings filled in.
