Police Break up Gambling Event at Niran Grand Condo.

 

In the early hours of Monday Morning, Police Colonel Nopadon, the Superintendent of Pattaya Police Station oversaw a gambling arrest which took place in the Niran Grand Condo Complex, Soi Arunothai, Central Pattaya. In Apartment Block C a group of 5 men and 6 women were playing a game known in Thai as “Dow Ban” which is a variation of “Hi-Low”. A Gameboard, dice and a small amount of cash were seized as evidence and the group was taken to Pattaya Police Station for processing. We would like to take this opportunity to remind you that Gambling is illegal here in Thailand and, if caught, you may be liable to arrest and even imprisonment in some cases.
