Downloading from Xvideos and other such sites

Need some help downloading videos from the Xvideos & other such sites. Have tried a few Video grabber softwares but none seem to work on these sites.

eish ipad and mac are not as flexible, you could try and search google. I love my ipad but I hate the way Apple locks you into how IT wants to do things.

On Mac, the easiest thing to do is note the URL and pop open a terminal window: 

 

curl http:///www.pornowebsiteofthemoment.com/freakishlylongfilename01010.flv > newfilename.flv

 

If you're lazy and want an app to do it for you, try one of these. 

 

On iOS, yes - it's easier. I use Video Download Pro ($.99 - don't bother with the free version; the popups, ads & nag-screens aren't worth a sawbuck). Can download & play virtually anything - movies, flash video, music - and then manage it via wifi transfer or up to the cloud. Even works with stupid Redtube and it's pop-behinds. There are other apps, but this works for me. 

 

Don't go slagging something you don't know, and stop playing my-os-is-better-than-yours, please. It wastes our time and makes you look less intelligent.

For the Mac you used to be able to just view the page source and look for the item with an increasing size (as the video gets bigger as it downloads) and save it directly (in Safari).  This worked for most sites, no idea about that particular site and I'm not in front of my mac.  

 

 

After opening the URL, puase the video when it starts to play for seconds, and wait for the video to fill the grey progress bar. Then click Window on the menu bar -> Activity, and find the line that represents your video, double click it and the download will begin.

With this method, you do not need any downloader or software, but have to wait for the videos being complete processed.

Download Real Player at realplayer.com. You will then be able to download everything.

There is a chrome based browser called "torch"

It has a built in media fetcher as well as a bittorrent client.

The media fetcher works fine on xvideos

This is  nice browser, I have been using it for a few months now...its just chrome with a few extras thrown in
