IPhone 5 problem

Bought iPhone 5 the other day, big problem is when talking on phone either my cheek or ear keeps pressing the keypad causing mute, loudspeaker or beeps from numbers, is their anyway to turn down sensitivity of screen. ????????

That is a really strange issue!

Means the sensor is not detecting something large close to the sensor, normally happens after water damage.

Usually happens when I don't hold the phone properly to my ear. The sensor near the speaker disables the screen when its close to your ear, could be the sensor going wonky or try updating the os.

Maybe a reset using power and home button.

Thanks everyone, the sensor was indeed faulty and they're exchanging it.
