Pattaya Court announces three death sentences for men convicted of murder and rape.

 

On Friday Afternoon, we attended a press conference held at the Pattaya Provincial Court by Khun Amnart, Chief Justice at the Court. He announced the final sentences imposed on three men who had been found guilty of murder and rape. The case dates back to 2004 and occurred in Na-Jomtien sub-district. The three men were accused of killing one man and raping his girlfriend moments after his death. She also lost her life in the double-attack. After a lengthy trial, Khun Samat aged 29, Khun Ookort aged 29 and Khun Apichart aged 23 were found guilty of rape and murder and were sentenced to death by lethal injection. The case will automatically go to appeal, however we understand the evidence is overwhelming.
