break iPad glass

It's easy to break but dont know if its easy to fix in pattaya.

Dont want to go to "apple store", they already take all my money for the Ipad.

Now i want give my money to other people ;)

Any experience some shop in Tuckom ? or elsewhere ?

How on earth did you break it? My old iPad I had for a year, not a scratch, used every day? Did you drop it?

Well i put on the sink while i shower, but it seems my ipad prefer the floor.

But the floor dont like my Ipad.

Yes i know tuckom, i went today, i ask but to much shop and am not sure if i can trust

in every shop to fix.

why i'm asking if somebody have experience to share

it's my Ipad, like my dog, like my TG, i love him so i must be careful ;)

Try to figure out whether you've just broken the digitizer (touch screen) or you've also broken the LCD screen underneath. If its just the digitizer you'll be able to see a reasonably decent image underneath the cracks. However, if you busted the LCD as well, there will be big stripes and blotches in your image.

 

A replacement digitizer is about $25 USD for the part, plus about 1/2 hour of labor. The LCD screen runs about $50 to $100 depending on whether you've got a retina display or not. This is in addition to the cost of the digitizer. Probably about an hour of labor to do both at the same time. (Actually, somebody with lots of experience can do it all in about 20 min.)

 

You can google these parts for your specific iPad so that you've got a price reference when you negotiate at TukCom.

Bought the iPad4 32 for LLT GF a couple weeks ago,

Got an 'Otter" case for it too (3,300b) . Says on the box that it'll protect the iPad from being damaged if dropped.

She took it to Ubon for a few days' family visit.

Told me yesterday by Skype that her friend had dropped it but no damage.

Go down to the basement level in TukCom, turn to the right as you get off the escalator.  There's a shop/repair centre in the corner.  They seem to be able to fix most things and will quote you a price and repair time on the spot.

Finally i fix it in tuckom.

In the basement ( opposite TOPS)  they cannot do the work, went to the first floor in "MW mobile" for 3000 baht and 2 hours my IPAD3 looks like a IPAD 4 haha

So good work

Another shop in tukom ask me 4500 b :(
