Sony Nex 5N vs Nikon 1 V1

I currently own a Sony Nex 5N am are amazed by the photos it takes.

With the eyes getting older I am having trouble seeing the screen and also the lenses are bigger.

The Nikon 1V1 has a view finder and much smaller lenses.

Any one used both and able to compare. Size and image quality are my main concern.

Shot taken white light festival Melbourne. Hand held with Nex 5N at 12600 iso.

I own a Nikon 1 V1, and it's a great camera, for the reasons you suggest:  Built-in view finder, and small, high-quality lenses.  Also, the battery life is great and the camera is extremely fast.  Almost as fast as a good DSLR.  The drawback is the smaller (1") sensor.  It takes great pictures, but it won't be as good in low light as the APS-C sensor in your Sony.

I've been shooting mainly with my Ricoh GR since I got it.  No EVF, but it's pocket-sized small, has a great lens, is very responsive, and has a terrific APS-C sensor.  Compared to your Sony:

Fantastic camera.
