Yip I checked with the Google Oracle the translation is "I want to stay with you"

The Oracle then suggested you run for the hills ;)

Good Luck

Google translations from Thai text hardly ever make any sense but the girlfriend translated it for me .

It translates "RUN FORREST RUN"

But I'm just paraphrasing here.

Can someone please enlighten me why I should be running? I mean its not like she is declaring her love to me is it?

I think you need to read the board a bit more and you will know. :)

It's more like 'I want to be with you'.

ฉัน = I (chan)

อยาก = want (yaak)

อยู่ = be (yuu)

กับ = with (gap)

คุณ = you (khun)

'I want to stay with you' would be 'ฉันอยากพักกับคุณ' (chan yaak pak gap khun), which would more imply they wanted to stay with you in your hotel.

Seems she wants to be with you forever and not just a few nights - time to make a run for it lol  :GoldenSmile1:

Well I guess I have to see myself once I arrive in thailand. She seems to me like a normal girl. Definitely not bar girl.

ข้างนอกสุกใส ข้างในต๊ะติ้งโหน่ง

thanks!

It's a blend of 2 Thai sayings, so it looks like even a lot of Thais get it wrong.

It should be either:

ข้างนอกขรุขระ ข้างในต๊ะติ๊งโหน่ง - looking bad on the outside, but good (as in a good person) on the inside

or:

ข้างนอกสุกใส ข้างในเป็นโพรง - looking good on the outside, but bad (mean, evil) on the inside

They all mean basically the same, in English you would say something like "don't judge a book by it's cover", or "looks can be deceiving"

ขออภัยในความไม่สะดวก กูเกิลทรานสเลทไม่สามารถแปลข้อมูลนี้ได้
