Found this out totaly by accident. I have a Thia SIM I use whenever in LOS. I always leave about 300 baht on it when I leave so its ready upon my return. I turned my Thai Cell on to get some photo's out of it and it rang. It was someone in LOS trying to call my Thai number. Turns out T-Mobile/ATT in the US has a roaming agreement with 1 2 Call. Once I found this out I did some experimenting and this is what I found out I could do. I can receive calls but can not place calls. People can send MMS pics to my Thia cell phone from thier Thail cell phone and it shows up as a SMS message with a web address attached. I can go online and type in the URL and see the picture. I also had someone send me a 100 baht calling card number and I was able to enter it just like in LOS and it credited my account. Just wanted to let the board know just in case anyone finds this info useful.

Yep they work also in belgium.

I had a 12call sim card.

when i got home there was about 120 baht on it that i could use till 1.10.08.

I to found out e few weks ago when i put the card in my phone to check the number.

Did you try *131*Country code, area code, phone number and # send for making a phone call?

 

19 Baht for a SMS and 60 baht/minute for making or receiving a call.

Mine works in Australia as well. SMS and recieveing calls only through the Optus network.
