Anyone who has any experience visiting malaysian - thailand border towns like Betong, Danok, Sg Golok? any other places close to these towns which are worth the visit? for the record i have been to Betong 3 times and one time to Hatyai...for some reason I still prefer Pattaya...I have never been to Phuket, koh samui and etc...been to pattaya 3 times thou...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure its advised to avoid the boarders....we'll the British Embassy says this anyway.
