Xmas Dinner Specials

every day here is like xmas day but it's the time of year when restaurants start planning for santa's shindig by launching their christmas menus. (ie add a mince pie to the regular fried chicken and whack up the bill a bit.)

sadly I will not be partaking in pattaya's festive frenzy but an early leader in the race to part falangs from their baht has to be gregs kitchen.

Located on 2nd road near Soi 6, I picked up their "2 day christmas special" menu as I passed by today.

3 courses.......good start

1. old english pea and ham soup (with crusty bread)

2. traditional roasted US turkey (with the usual)

3. christmas yule log (with raspberry sauce)

 

no mention of a mouthwatering mince pie but an eyewatering price of 1200 bht.
