I had breakfast on my 1st trip at Crazy Daves last year, whilst staying across the road. Wasn't impressed by it, and never went back.

The Secrets bacon & egg roll looks good, but 100bt, same price as I pay in the UK.

Do you get to eat it while some little minx handles your cock?

Must happen everyday up there in Geordie land.Slapper central.

The Links is a 24 hour bar with the kitchen open between 8 am and 11 pm, I arrived around 7.45 am and was informed of the hours and would have to wait for the cook to arrive at 8 am and breakfast would be around 8.30, no worries ordered the Full Monty at 195B and settled in with my coffee.  Before the night shift waitress left at 8 am she informed the cook of my order and left, so I think that is where my order of fried eggs got confused with an omelet, no biggy for me, but the rest off the breakfast was awful.  The omelet had been fried in the previous night wok oil and tasted of chilies, the bacon was rancid, mushrooms where burnt and along with the sausages and hash brown where soak in very bad tasting oil, about the only that was edible was the tomatoes and toast!  When I asked to check bin and the new waitress saw what was left on my plate and asked what was wrong, I explained about the chilli eggs and rancid bacon, she went and saw cook and came back and said we cook new eggs, I replied no thanks paid and walked.

Thats awesome Ray.lol.

To be honest,we are looking at building a micro brewery in a building that we have here, and when I went to my commercial account manager looking for some money,he asked me what we would call the craft beer.

I didnt expect him to ask me,so rather than saying "I have no idea" I told him we were thinking of Skalliwags.lol.

Skalliwags honey Ale.

Skalliwags West Coast Lager.

What do you think? It sounds ok doesnt it?Has a certain ring.

I want to brew a real West Coast fishing beer and was thinking "Skalliwags tackle box lager"

If you don't mind a comment, I think your ideas sound great for craft beers. I'd try it, especially with a well-designed label. Good luck on your venture. :)

We have a tenant in our building till mid next year so nothing will happen before then,if at all.

Sure would be fun though.

Still working on it.Thanks for the heads up.Cheers.

Spare you the details. It was basically he same as the OP's but I happen to be friends with the owner and it's difficult to be objective.

The Links has issues no doubt.Such a great lay out though.

Edit,no wonder,it was upside down.lol.

Excellent idea.Let her warm up and get things going.lol.

From the initial picture, the breakfast looked fine, which is why actual comments are so (more) important too.

Obviously cannot judge a place on a single visit

Basic breakfast, Punch & Judy, 140 baht.

attachicon.gifP1190243.JPG

What did they do to those eggs? Tomato looks terrible, one small sausage is not impressive and lumps of spud have no place on a proper breakfast.

I don't have a problem with a potatoes in the form of hash browns*, potato scones and at a push bubble and squeak but lumps of potato? You might as well have chips/home fries.

*Real hash browns are a thing of joy not those frozen trapezoidal things.

Shame really as the P&J do a cracking Sunday dinner.

The Naklua Breakfast 130B, disappointed in this one after the German owner spruiked how good his food was, then his mate turned up and got cranky cause I was sitting in his seat. The food was not that good to punch on over and not as if we where sitting at the Hilton!
