I could do with 2 pieces of toast as I never eat the jam and like to put the bacon and eggs on the toast.

Agreed on Golf Club - I eat there every day when I am in Pats. The server hugged me when I left yesterday - so touching. The food is awesome and the coffee is fine in my books. Wentworth all the way for 170 including coffee.

Love all the pics, however I do see a pattern. Egg, sausage, bacon, beans and bread. For me this look more like a dinner, especially since some of the dishes have potatoes in them. For me a breakfast should be light and refreshing, something in the line with little yogurt/cornflakes and a bread, and maybe a egg on the side. But I usually skip breakfast completely since I do not usually have any appetite in morning, but I still love all the pics even if it is the same over and over again.

My favourite breakfast for the last couple of trips has been a small coffee shop just South of TukCom - I think it is called Garfae or something similar. I tried various meals before settling on one of the breakfast Sets of  Cheese Scrambled eggs  with crispy bacon and Toast, fresh Orange juice and a Coffee of your choice ( the coffee is excellent) .The scrambled egg is way much better than any I have had before in Patts, it is very creamy, 3 eggs I believe. I ended up eating there most days, well worth a try if you are down that way.

Another vote for Jollies, their Sunday Carvery is great value and get this, a free ice cream! 239bht if I remember right.

If your after Brit comfort food, their homemade cottage pie is great and they are open 24/7.

For breakfast for me. I rovers for value, and wither spoons if you are feeling flush.

Northern Thai Eatery 3rd Road opposite Access Inn.

 

 

 

 

My go to restaurant when I want a Northern Thai Breakfast, very clean, not spicy and the food does not taste of what was last cooked in the wok!  Served with a really nice lite cucumber green curry paste, which is more of a relish!  Included is a self serve salad bar, a good way to try the different Thai vegetable.  Good value at 60B and yes I am known to eat 2!

At 170B the price has not gone up in 18 months, but his time around no hash brown included in the price!

 

 

 

I found the sausage was tasteless and the mushroom a bit on the burnt side, the 3 slices of bacon where good and very good poached eggs without a hint of vinegar on them.  I am not fond of tinned tomato so that stayed on the plate next to the beans.

 

 

 

 

At 40B they rape you on the water.

To be honest,we are looking at building a micro brewery in a building that we have here,and when I went to my commercial account manager looking for some money,he asked me what we would call the craft beer.

I didnt expect him to ask me,so rather than saying "I have no idea" I told him we were thinking of Skalliwags.lol.
