Cool house is not bad, but you always have to order extra.  Scrambled eggs are a bit average.

I really appreciate this thread and have benefited from it.

One small suggestion: Give your opinion each time. A picture is not as good as an opinion to me. Both is best. I've thought this several times, don't mean to spoil your thread, but I think if you said something like "Cafe Pitiini, pretty good, but oompha is still my fave" or anything like that to give some scale of comparison, the thread would be better (thought it's great as it is).

Point taken, but the above cafe pitiini is not my pick.

A picture is worth a thousand words.  Those breakfasts are not worth commenting on anyway.  Do they skimp on the bacon just to keep prices low or do they just have no idea?  Rhetorical - of course it's the latter.

100 Baht double shot, good coffee but was served cold and in a big cup.

It was nearly worth the cold coffee to sit in Pattaya's most comfortable chair.

185 Baht big breakfast, they tried to cook it right, but could not get there! A pricey meal for being in the middle of bumfuck and swimming in oil.

Robins Nest  Soi Diana

http://robinsnestpattaya.com/

"Robin’s Nest is under new British management, with a team that has many years experience doing business in Pattaya between them. The manager, (who is also a co-owner) lives on the premises and is always available to assist with guests needs and requests or just to have a chat about the latest news from the Pattaya grapevine."

My mail is that the new management is the x owner of The Sportman, which would explain the small over priced meal.

One very lonely piece of toast, would it break the bank for 2 pieces?  That's just fucking tight!

post-82617-0-37484200-1388411365_thumb.jpg

159 Baht Full English Breakfast (minus pudding and shrooms),  small and overpriced meal, seeing that you can walk 200 meters in either direction and get a bigger meal for 30 Baht cheaper.

I have to agree I used to be a fairly frequent visitor when Robin owned the place

Robin was abit of a nutter but the food was ok

Defo gone downhill since the new owners

I do not rate the sportmans soi13 either well overpriced average food at best

Hi Nixonsbest,

I am loving this thread, but now at 20 pages long as other people have asked why don't you rank your top 5 English Breakfasts? I know you do German and have done some Buffets but saves newcomers to the thread having to trawl all the way through.

Plus it will give us an idea of which ones newer ones maybe have displaced your older favourites. It amazes me that you put in all this effort, and it is great to read.

Nixon you go through the pain so I don't have to.

Any chance you can do a review of Dicey Reilly's outside the Marriott?  They have world class chefs, but I never tried the breakfast.  Surely they can't cock that up.  May be a little pricey I'm expecting 300B but I'm sure it won't break the bank.
