I would be interested in a review of the buffet at the Marriott and as to whether it is worth the 700 or so baht.

:GoldenSmile1:

Am staying there next month (room only). Gave the breakfast option a miss. Got to be one of  the most expensive breakfast options I have ever seen in Pattaya.

Enjoying the reviews, by the way.

Anton's is great. Try their farmer's breakfast. Also their buffet in the evening (200 baht?) is a meat festival galore, swimming in grease and fat. You won't have to eat for a year after you have that buffet.

Cool - thanks!   I still need to get to 2 of your prior top 3, although I was so happy with Ritz, I know I will be back there again once I hit Pattaya!

BTW, I follow this thread religiously, so I don't want you to think I'm a lazy cunt who just wants to read the synopsis.  55555555

nixonsbest,     Maybe you could do a review of the breakfast at the Avenue on second road theres a place called Acorn it used to be shenanigans.   the English breakfast there used to be top notch, with a heated plate and two cups of mokador coffee everything cooked perfectly. That was 4years ago when it was Shenanigans.  Hopefully the new owner Acorn  is of the same quality.  Just a suggestion in case your looking for more places to review.  I like Kilkenny very much and for the money the quality is hard to beat. Thank you for reviews.   Beachroadlover

Fabulous series - really enjoying it. One things - you've gotten close to the 300B cost of the Hilton a few times - why not give their buffet a review?

In reckon the single most difficult thing about enjoying breakfast in Pattaya is explaining the concept of crispy bacon. They just don't seem to get it.

Tried a few this week, and this is my ranking....

1) Kilkenny

2) Ritz

3) Golf Club

Jimmy Mac's wasn't too shabby either...

This thread has been thoroughly enjoyable and informative. Apparently the OP got his cholesterol count done since he hasn't posted in a while.

when Bob was alive (former owner) the Pigs breakfast , with the sportsmans were the best in town always a little dearer but of the best quality and excellent sevice never heard of any problems with staff's attiuide either

I fully agree this was the place to go for a full english , always a great meal here , i went back in July this year after a time away from pattaya and the breakfast was tasteless i could not finish it. looks like the pig has gone downhill
