hotel advice/reccomend?

just wondering if any1 can help me ..arriving in bkk on 27th december and need a cheap guesthouse/hotel just for 2 nights ive never been to bangkok before but im going until my freind arrives on 29th before heading off to pattaya so do u know any cheap places near the sukhumvit road area or near where all the action is ..thanks

Good LOW price option is the Woraburi on Soi 4 near Nana Plaza. I have stayed here a few times and rooms are quite small but its good value for money.
