Language selector button for the forum.

This forum Language is in English.

Many websites have a Language selector button, normally found at the top of the page showing the national flag of the language country required . Could a language selector be set up on Pattaya-addicts.com?

In addition to English,,

American,German,French Italian Spanish and Thai would cover it.

I am sure this would appeal to and attract new members who are not confident enough with their level of english to either read or post on the forum threads.

Conversely, We could highlight and click the button to convert what they have posted in their own language into english. Their points of view could be interesting.

There must be a way to set up such a facility on the forum other than having to Copy and paste 'xxxx' language into english on the google translator to understand what they have typed.

Are English and American all that different? :WinkGrin1:

Seriously tho, I believe websites that have that function already have the content translated and written by a professional.

On a forum it would need to rely on software which is totally useless. And would make little sense. (A bit like google translate) Sometimes it works but mostly it sucks

Add ons for Firefox can already do this. (I think Chrome too) Simply highlight the text and right click. Still relys on software to translate.

don't think it would help make more join if you count select a different language

and it may well hurt the site , with that in general context being translated in a different way ,

the way it would work is if only certain parts could be changed , like the menu buttons
