both hotels in7/1 sukhumvit road, recommended to me by a friend from udon thani

i personally have not stayed there because i only stay in BKK for 1 or 2 nights and always pay extra to stay at nana hotel.

I stayed at the Starrinn and the room was average as was the service. 1000 Baht deposit required

 

Ever Rich Inn is 1100 baht but in a room with no window

 

However, though above your price range, at 1200 Baht per night the "BLANKET & BEAN" on Soi Nana directly opposite the entrance to the Nana Liquid Disco is a great little find of mine an hour ago. It is located adjacent to Dynasty Inn

 

The room is modern, aircon, safe, cable TV and fast free wifi. Keycard access to room so not have to worry about dropping off and collecting keys! And if you like coffee it serves a pretty decent brew too
