I just purchased an iPad 3 that I'DD bringing to Patts in November. My iPad has 3G through Verizon in the USA. Since it has a contract with 3G connections to Verizon will a Thai Sim card work in it?

I would say best to call Verizon and ask.Do iPads have to be unlocked from their carrier like iPhones do?

I just bought a nice factory unlocked 3GS for use overseas.My i5 (not the Interstate) is staying home.
