It is actually a NANO sim card you need. I think AIS and DTAC have them

Didn't have them in AIS when I asked the other day. Though, this is not in Pattaya.

 

Only the standard and Micro.

For both the micro & nano SIM, you can just cut regular SIMs down to size...

 

Don't forget to make sure that your phone's SIM is unlocked! Some carriers won't unlock your phone, so you can't change carriers without buying a new phone.

 

I usually buy a new SIM at the 7-11 at the airport for my Thai phone -- does anyone know if most convenience stores now carry micro sims too?

(I bought an unlocked Galaxy S3 that I want to use this time)

If you don't want to mess around with scissors, you can grab some nano sim cutters on ebay for a few quid.

I bought a cheap SIM cutting tool from Amazon, bought a regular One2Call SIM with data package at the airport and cut it down to nano SIM size. It fits the IPhone 5 and works perfectly.

If you mean those small ones that the iPhone 4 uses then you can get them at 7-11 with DTAC

You can get a small sim at 7-11. Just show them how big you need the card!
