Purchasing the ticket...

Im just about to purchase my ticket to BKK from london on November 7th - after lots of searching on the net the cheapest one way ticket i can find is £318 with gulf air with 1 stopover in bahrain.

 

First of all do you think this is a decent price or is it possible to find cheaper, and secondly has anyone flown with gulf air to BKK before? Apparently its on a Airbus A340 whats the entertainment like on one of those?

 

Do you think its worth stumpng up an extra £50 to go direct with EVA or Thai airways?

 

Also has anyone else noticed how the same flight is priced differently depending on the website? This ticket is £40 more on the airline website as it was on travelbag...
