new ios6 for iphone update

Any body updated a uk bought iphone here in Thailand?

 

mine is downloading it now but i have a feeling all the setting are gonna revert back to the uk settings, resulting to no signal!

IOS 6 doesn't seem to make much difference but the battery seems to last longer.

apple has dropped google maps and using it own maps with ios6

Why, if you've had your phone unlocked, would it be useless in Thailand after upgrading to ISO6? Surely you don't have to keep getting it unlocked after every update?

I notice iOS 6 now allows the posting of photos to the forum from my iPad.

 

Still not compatible with the adobe flash player though........bummer.

If you have it unlocked by the carrier, then it should be fine. If you have done a Jailbreak and unlocked it yourself, then the upgrade will indeed wipe out your unlock. If you have the original SIM in it, then that will still work, but you won't be able to use any other SIM. Eventually, a Jailbreak and unlock for IOS 6 will be released, but it isn't available yet (although supposedly the developers have one working).

iOS6 upgraded. Maps not as bad as I thought. Youtube app is different but good.
