Problems with Some Threads on Forum!

I have been a member of this Forum for some time, but latelyi I am having a problem bringing up some of the threads posted on the various Forums. I am not a computer genius,, so I can only explain in layman's terms.

 

When I click on a particular thread on one of the Forums, the thread does not open completely, & it displays the hourglass. This jams up my computer; and, to clear it, I have to go completely out of the Addicts Forum then re-enter the Forum proper. This is a consistent problem with threads that have more than 6-7 pages of posts.

 

How can I get around this problem? Any & all advice appreciated! MANY THANX!
