17 year old arrested after attempted house break-in.

 

 

Police Lieutenant Colonel Santi from Pattaya Police Station received an urgent call to attend the house of an English Man at the Jomtien Nivet Village in the early hours of Thursday Morning who informed Police that a Thai Man was attempting to break-in to his house. Police and volunteers arrived within minutes and spotted the suspect, a 17 year old male who had been released from prison only 2 days before the incident where he served time in relation to drugs offences. The suspect attempted to escape but was quickly caught by volunteers. The suspect claimed that he had an appointment with the house owner, Mr. Peter aged 50, however this allegation was denied and Mr. Peter claimed never to have seen the man before. The suspect was taken to the Police Station and charged with attempted theft.
