Cheapest Unmetered Mobile Internet

I could really do with internet in my room as I have been working out of bars for the past three months.

I am trying to find one of the operators that offer the USB modems to connect with. However, the difficult part is that I am a heavy internet user - as in 12 hours per day/7 days per week non-stop.

I've stumbled across a few different options, but every one of them seems to give just a few hours as part of the package with excess fees in the region of a baht/minute. This would end up costing me something like THB 20,000 per month and so it is not an option.

Does anyone know if any of the service providers offer an umetered 'all you can eat' package - or at least one that offers reasonable prices for hardcore users?

Wow.. thats a lot of REDTUBE and YOUPORN!

All of the dongle packages IMHO are shite.

Cheers,

True Move H has unlimited for 800 baht but they cap your speed after 5GB. If you have an IPhone you can tether it to your laptop or just get a dongle.

Hi, Ohyesuare,

Many thanks for the advice. I did sign up for True Move. The price is good at THB 900 for the dongle and the first month's usage with, as you say THB 800/month after that. They needed to see a work permit before I was able to sign up. Luckily I have one, but I can imagine that this is going to be a problem for a lot of farangs who could want one.

5GB is quite generous - not quite enough for me to use it 24/7 without going over 166 MB a day which it works out at, but on an average day it is OK.

The service is very patchy I have found with the data coming in bursts rather being consistent. A lot of the time I can't get anything through it at all. This might just be the result of my overworked laptop though.

I have been putting off going to their service centre to see if they can do anything with it, but think it's time I did as it can drive me crazy when I can't get anything out of it.

Have you seen any 3BB SSID's in your wifi explorer? You can buy that from 7/11 or family mart for access.
