declaring laptops?

are you supposed to declare your laptop when you enter bangkok? and also how about your camera? I really never understood if you are or not

no need to delare either items mate, i always have my notebook and camera's, no issue at all with either of them........ Declarations would be made if you had 20 laptops or 30 camera's if you were going to a trade show or something, or for alcohol over the limit or ciggerettes over the limit. Cash in excess of 10,000 US dollars, and other promotional items, your one laptop and camera is fine mate.....

Never declared either, and never had a problem

Nor me and I brought in 2 cameras and 5 or 6 lenses (over 2 trips) as well as my laptop.
