Is there any kind of scene in Koh Pha-Ngan?

Seems a bring-your-own situation but has anyone seen anything remotely fun going on around the island?

Some beer bars on the road running from Thong Sala to Haad Rin through Ban Thai, nothing too exciting.

 

Haad Rin had some kind of reptilian themed girly bar/Go-Go approx 18 months ago.

Obviously I mean full moon aside, I think I know that bar, is it food factory or something? May check it out

If it's dry on KPN you can always hop on a boat to Samui.

Nah, never been a fan of Samui and it's primarily relaxation with some fun if possible but not 100% essential
