Internet connection in BKK hotels

Newbie here!! I have one question related to internet connection that's available in Sukhmit(?) area hotels. Is the connection good enough to work via desktop sharing? I will be working at least 4 hrs a day via desktop sharing so that I can bill my US client . I have currently booked JW Marriott. But does anyone have a cheaper (50-70 $ a day) suggestions?

I'm no techie so not sure what you mean.

All I can tell you is that I've stayed at The Dawin and Phachara Suites which both had free in room wifi which was excellent. Hope this is of some help.

I am currently staying at Renaissance in Bangkok. The internet connection seems fine here. I think one can use VPN if needed.
