Can someone here please recommend a nice thai restaurant close by to the Pattaya Bay Resort hotel

best way is to just investigate, if you see a place with a good crowd then thats a good sign.

I have always had a good meal at Ruen Thai restaurant. This place is on 2nd road not far from your hotel. Walk through the Avenue shopping centre and when you get to 2nd road turn left and walk maybe a 100 metres or so and it is down a little lane on your left.

Yep great place, just up past Casa Pascal

I stayed at Areca lodge and my GF and I liked Privi Suites outdoor patio dining. If you go right out of Soi Metro and cross over 2nd road its right on the corner. They have an excellent range of Thai and international cuisine. Reasonably priced and great location. We ate there most every night ,give it a go .....
