Hotel or Guesthouse soi 6 area

Looking to base myself around Soi 6 for a week and was wondering if anyone had and tips, i,m willing to spend up to 1500 baht per night and i wanna be no more than 10 mins walk away.

You can stay right on Soi 6 at the Queen Vic. 1500 should easily get you a nice room there. Also not too far away is Soi 1/2 area. The Sabai Resorts and Sabai Empress are pretty nice. Should get a room for 1500 easy too.

This is a nice place to stay in Soi 6.

It is a guesthouse, having very nice rooms, 600 baht per day according to their site now.

It's on the 2nd-road side of Soi 6 AND has a back-entrance.

They serve food and snacks, but, it is no restaurant.

Rooms are large and nice, hot shower, TV, DVD (last time i was there).

Site is in Dutch, but, when you mail them for info, they wil answer you in English.

Because the location NOT in the middle of Soi 6, you can go in and out (also back entrance) with the nedded discretion.

The staf is realy nice and not pushi,g for drinks, but they appreciate it when you buy tem some.

And, very important, they have a dog. The dog is the sweety of the lady manager. Cute and with an own personality.

There is just one problem: not easy to get a room sometimes, most of the times full..

A place to recomend altough, cheap, nice place to stay, good comfort.

Just visit the site. Maybe you can find a translation to English...

I would recommend QV as well, you can get a nice spacious deluxe room there with good sat tv, safe, balcony over looking the soi, free room service with good menu, etc, all the things you need really for 900bht during low season...and you'll still have 600bht extra a day to put towards ST's haha

I can't understand why anyone would want to stay on Soi 6. Just my opinion.

I've heard Ruby 2 on Soi 6 is nice.

 

Lot's of my good friends like to stay on the six. Personally, I don't because it gets pretty dark and dead after 1am.

April or August Suites is approx 10 mins walk away. Much better than Queen Vic, i've stayed in both.
