Two out of three families are in debt, survey finds

According to the Thai Family Studies Association, 10.5 million out of 15 million Thai families it surveyed are in debt - and 1.2 million families can't repay their debts.

That's really a sad thing! nearly 10% can't even repay what they owe, no wonder they have to send there women to work in the sex industry. I wonder how much this is to do with falangs raising prices? or maybe it is just the economics of the country? either way it's a sad statement!!
