Anyone know where in pattaya I can get my iphone unlocked / perhaps get a GPP Geyvey sim to unlock it?

Unfortunately I only know of places in Bkk, but I'm sure there are places in Pattaya that other board members can sugest.

As the post above says, you should be able to do it via your carrier. Every time I have gotten a new phone (inc the iPhone) the first thing I do is get it unlocked. Just tell them you are going overseas and will be using a local sim. If you are on a contract its no skin of their nose cause your still paying for the phone anyway.

Another option is to Google ways to unlock it. There are instructions on YouTube., but I'd ring the carrier first. I've never had an problem and I've been with Telstra, Optus, 3 and now Live Connected.
