Rather than searching and getting old reviews who's offering the best access Via a Sim using a laptop specifically in the mainstream Pattaya areas....??

 

Not interested in a tablet or smartphone usage.....

 

Previously speed wouldn't have been too important but need the best available now......

 

Needs to be via a Dongle and Sim.....

Read the fine print. Put aside there is no steady 3G in Pattaya! Period. True has 3G but unreliable.

 

AIS 3G 3GB unlimited edge 799 baht drops to 286 kbps or(K) real world was 220-225 kbps. workable

 

DTAC 3G 3GB unlimited adge 650 baht dops to 384 kbps. haven't tested real conditions.

 

Keep in mind the "promotion" 399 baht DTAC 3G 1GB drops to 64 kbps! thats basically the old modem speeds.

I have the 12Go standard sim, punched in some code for 3g 150mb 1 month (then once 150mb is used it goes to 2g) for 149b a month. I don't seem to get 3g for some reason, I dont really care as I use it for email and the occasional web lookup.
