I emailed Mr T Taxi over 2 weeks ago & didn't get a response.

 

On the advice of a fellow BM I emailed PT Taxi & received a prompt confirmation within 24 hours.

 

PT's email received yesterday:

Anyone know if they are one & the same guy, or are they merging to create a huge multi-national corporation?

I've answered my own question.

 

Sent an email to Mr T, saying thanks but I already booked with PT.

 

I thought I may as well ask him straight out. Got this response:

I checked nothing there. So I emailed them yesterday and they responded today. I do not think the order online works.

Just confirmed my booking as well via the website, had email back within 24 hours, impressed .

I don' t think they joined forces. As another member said before, it is more likely that a former employee tried to steal Mr. T' s cusomers. To make sure, you hire the real Mr. T, you should only contact [email protected].

Actually PT is run by someone who use to work for Mr T and tried to screw him over by telling people to use PT instead and that they are the same. According to a post I read anyway in which Mr T said this himself. He would respond to bookings saying to book with PT and ignore bookings for Mr T.

 

I hope Mr. T did not loose too many customers to this scammer!

I have used the service from P.T. Taxi service for 4 times. I need to go abroad every year. So I always use the service for transportation between the airport and Pattaya. Sometimes I went to Poiped, Cambodia for a visa stamp, sometimes to a hospital in Bangkok for health check. I really like your service. The cars are in good condition, all new Civics. The drivers are professional, always on time, polite and friendly. They drive carefully and safety. Even though I have quite a lot of cars at home, I still prefer the excellent services of P.T. Taxi Service This is because of the comfort and economy. I never have to worry about parking the car, loosing the way, nor the constantly changing prices of gasoline. it was about i have changed my company name and i have heard a lot of customer come and ask about this.

 

I just want to come out and tell you that Mr.T is still doing a business (Mr.T is not Mr.Toom) My name is Teung

and i use name Mr.T because my name is very hard to say.

 

Problem above came because i didn't check e-mail my self and i hire someone to answer e-mail for me (now he owned PT)

but now my son will answer all of my e-mail and he will check twice a day (morning and night).

 

So i just want to tell you that Mr.T still doing this business with cheapest price in Pattaya.

Can't believe I was taken in.

 

I used PT a couple of times & he was reliable, although his drivers are obviously Bangkok freelancers evidenced by them hiding behind a shop near gate 3. On the plus side, for the return trip in the OP the GF got the name of the driver & we 'cut out the middle man' so some karma there.
