Language teacher, in person Pattaya?

Anyone know a good teacher right here in town? Prefer in-person to online. Thinking to meet at Central Festival, or a cafe. Bonus points for a cutie, of course, but not necessary.

Depends on your definition of "good" and "teacher".

If you want a trained teacher who can teach the official Thai syntax, semantics, grammar, pronunciation, tones, reading, writing etc. then most Thai school teachers will do. But most of them will have also have limited English capabilities to talk/explain everything to you (assuming that you are an English speaker).

If you want a cutie that speaks fluent English on top of this, your chances will decrease drastically. 

So you probably will end up with a middle-aged Thai teacher who can actually teach you Thai, or a cutie who is fun to talk to but you can also find in any bar.

There are quite a few language threads on this forum. Use the search function. Otherwise Google your desires. Or pass along some schools where the 6-12 yo kids go to in the morning and spot the teachers. They all teach Thai (in Thai).

I met a girl in Waling st agogo bar who claimed she was an English teacher. I can't vouch for her credentials but her English was very good and she was very cute 😂

creative marketing thought:  Get yourself a Tshirt printed up that says something like "Looking for a girl teacher, someone to teach me Thai" written in Thai with your cell, or a QR code on it.  Good way to network and get the word out.

School is near the top of the hill between Pattaya and Jomtien. It has regular ads in magazine, 'Der Farang' (German).

My teacher (25 year old female) is based in Pattaya. I met her in person on my last trip.

Could probably take the trial lesson and set up in person meetings afterwards, or send a message and set up in person meetings right away.

Are the prices per hour or is is a course 3/6  months to pay in advance?

Bonkabit mentioned it already: ABC Language School, by far the best institution to dive into the Thai language. For several years I combine my visits to Pattaya always with classes at ABC and they really get you motivated.

I tried a hour lesson at the language school tucked in a side street near Soi6 and altera hotel.

Maybe the lady boss there does visa work too, she seemed to operate on a short fuse.

The teacher was different about 10 Farangs aged 22-50 in the class.

The best way to learn what I knew so far was look at a App reading common sentences and repeat it 40 times
