I'm an idiot, I forgot my laptop charger. Lenovo Thinkpad. If anyone has the same model, I'll buy you a beer (or two 🤪) while it charges! Thanks, everyone! I stay in D hotel tonight until wednesday

I'm a long time user of ThinkPads for work. As a result I have several chargers laying around. The charging port is different on some models. Which model do you have?

You're in luck as that's the newer model charging port used on the T15p and T450s, both of which I have, which also means I have a spare charger laying around gathering dust that you're welcome to borrow. Send me a PM if you're interested in picking it up and delivering back to me when you're done.

That power connection on your laptop is called "Lenovo square tip", and is included in most "universal charger sets", there are also "converter cables", so if you brought a second laptop with you (with charger), this might also help you. (second picture shows a converter cable from "Lenovo round" to "square tip")

Not the answer you are looking for - but perhaps a bit of help anyway.

All of my stuff is charged by USB, but my laptop is the only thing I have to cart around a separate charging cable for.  I now only bring my USB charging stuff, but bought one of these adapters so I can use it to charge the laptop:

One less charger to forget...............

If it is a newer ThinkPad with USB C, most phone chargers will at least keep it alive, even if it charges slowly. hotel front desk often has spare chargers too. Worst case, Tukcom or Central Festival has Lenovo compatible chargers and power adapters. You should be sorted fast.
