Need Help! THE Zign Hotel.....

Has anyone ever stayed here is it lady friendly cause Im a newbie and I will be heading to pattaya soon for my first time and after looking at a ton of accomodations to stay at Im a really picky kinda guy and perfer MODERN CONTEMPORARY and ALOT OF SPACE so after exhausting all options I came across the ZIGN and immediatley loved it I decided on the EXTREAM ROYAL PICASSO SUITE for 3 weeks... I have been reading a ton of trip reports about where all the other Mates has stayed and but noone has ever mentioned this place I noticed it is alittle further away from where all the action is which is ok with me. So please any word of advice will be much appreciated

It is a fair way off the beaten track for sure, as for Girl Friendly, i would Hazard a guess and say it is not as it appears to be marketed towards russian/japanese and korean families.

Not really lady friendly, i visit this hotel last year, 1000 bahts joiner fee, if you want really nice room 300 SQm, with outside jacuzzi for only 15'000 bahts /day. LK Metropole Metrople suite. The most expensive room is the suite in Sheraton over 100'000 bahts/day, private pool.

Napalai pool resort offer also bungalow with private pool.

I liked the Zign hotel too. If Budget is not a factor I would stay there too. There is a joiner fee. However, the girls don't really care where you stay as long as you pay them.

 

Check out the Amari Nova too its much closer to the action.

 

Tim Boutique hotel is good. Not great. Also much closer to the action. I stayed here and thought it was a good compromise.

My last trip my budget was about 3.5k a day. Granted I was staying on Soi6 with a LT who had no bf.

But thats like 10 nights all in action for the price of one night at that place.

**I noticed that you're from Vegas. I could be wrong, but I assume you're choosing this hotel based on Vegas logic. Roll big with a major suite for the 'playas ball'. This can backfire in LOS. While the girls want your money, they won't respect what *they* consider excess waste.

 

If you WANT to spend 35k a night, then go ahead. But you don't have to spend that much a night to have a great room.

 

For that price you can go for the upgrade at HardRock, get a suite at the Marriott, any of the LK properties or Tim Boutique.

 

Better yet, just rent a villa.

Ok I wanna thank all of you so far for your reply's to my question all of you have been helpful Oh and yes mike_asia you read that right 3 weeks I will be staying there and Piero? you said you stayed there last year and paid a joiner fee of 1000bht now is that per lady or per night and when you get the best suite in the place especially for 3 weeks I shouldnt have to worry about paying extra fees that would be a burden because IT IS THAILAND I mean what if I bring 3 or more girls back to my suite just to hangout....lol...OK well at least thats what would happen before the action starts.. I mean that would be like 3000bht total not including bf and tip THATS INSANE!! lets do the math right quick if I continued this routine everyday for 3 weeks that would be an estimated 63,000Bht.. That would definitley cut into my spending money which will not be good! hey guys as a matter of fact Im going to put up a pre trip report explaining my whole trip and I KNOW I KNOW never plan what your going to do in thailand cause things change so lets just say this is an OUTLINE of my whole trip and I will also explain what I know so far to prepare me and what Im unsure of so please read and comment the whole Pre trip report should be done before the day is over I already have all my accomodations together thanks again mates Oh and the topic to the pretrip report will be Young LoLo's Pretrip Outline.. :Drink4:

Dude, I'm somewhat of a LDOP and I won't even spend that. I mean, I'm very generous and like to ball outta control, but really 35k baht for a hotel thats out of the way? Check out LK Renaissance or LK Metro. They are both close to the action, the rooms are baller and you'll save some money compared to the Zign, there's no joiners fee, there are jacuzzi Suites and all that shit. Trust me bro take a look at the LK chain. You wont regret having that extra money in your pocket and not tied down to your room.

The girls will think you are crazy for wasting your money....the falang in Pattaya will know it.......so many great places to stay.....I can't ever imagine paying more than 2k a night in Pattaya for a room that would cost two to four times the price in the States.....I can't believe how nice, clean and comfortable a place you can get for about 1000 bhat (27 dollars) a night ......why not save a little cash and spend it on the talent ?

Oh ok thats my mistake I should mention Im going have 10kUSD not including emergency money after all expenses so I think 353,000bht should be enough for me to party on while im in LOS =) I'm not trying to play the baller roll TRUST ME I live in vegas guys where a high roller suite can cost a WHOPPIN 45K a NIGHT at the plams the hugh hefner suite and even at the MGM GRAND the sky loft is 2K a night WHICH IS REAL NICE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT but besides the point I have never been that far in my life and WOULD NOT ever stay in a HOSTEL or BB or any other small time hotel!! when I get there and get to know more about pattaya then I will consider MAYBE down grading alittle bit but until that happens I will stick to what Im used to =)

I repeat only a very naive nOObie would dream of even enquiring about the type of 5 star luxury such as this on sites like this! Paying 735,000 bht simply for accomodation in Pattaya in these "Hard times" is laughable! Just what type of replies did you expect with this sort of unbelievable bragging, particulary in these times where the average monger is constantly checking the exchange rates and sinking further behind the 8 ball with each passing week, and delaying if not cancelling his upcoming vacation.

Then to further boast about the size of your budget and infer that by LV standards this is a cheap deal only casts further doubt on your motives!

I suggest that you "Google" your imaginary hotel choice on all the Pattaya forums and see how many helpful informative responses you receive from the memberships, I would be very surprised if even a minute percentage have even heard of this place, never mind staying there!

Why we even laughingly call anybody that pays 20 bht for a baht-bus a LDOP! I can assure you that I am not in the least jealous or anywhere near being a hater,as to be HONEST I would be very uncomfortable escorting up to 3 bargirls through the "Walk of shame"at such a high class establishment.

Ok now thats a way to comment and Im up for recommondations on other places and im still looking its just a place I came across that looks comfortable for ME while im there and Im sure the ladies wont complain about me staying in some highclass suite Im sharing the luxury and just quick note I do not look down upon anyone who can and CANT afford a better living cause it took me a LONG TIME to get where I am today. I keep a good attitude towards everyone that I meet and try to build long term friendship Im not a snobby guy I just like what I like and DO consider other peoples thoughts on certain situations. When I come to thailand I will respect the fact of not OVER TIPPING for those that follow and just live life meet a ton of new people and make the best of experience while Im there mate. =)
